Please note, after getting all up and running I have only played with this for a few hours so my comments by no means are a definitive take.
EZD was more of a challenge maybe this was a function of the module differences – I don’t know. I am in no manner VST proficient but in the past I have installed Addictive Drums2 and BFD-Eco with my Roland TD-15.
Since SD3 does not have a “demo” version in an effort to “test” this I downloaded EZDrummer2 in hopes that it would be close to SD3 albeit it not an exact representation.Īfter a bit of a convoluted effort I was finally able to install and configure EZD2 with my Pearl Mimic Pro module. I’ve heard/read that Superior Drummer 3 is much more realistic sounding than Steven Slate Drums. Not sure if you are interested in the opinion of a true layperson – if so, please read on.
